Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing Voice SFT, creating an account, or submitting a recording, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract in your country, and you must be able to lawfully receive payment for work. You agree that the information you provide — including your name, country, and payment details — is accurate and kept up to date.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Please use the credentials we issue only for your own participation, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. One person, one account.

4. Projects, review & payment

• Each project has clear, on-screen instructions. You agree to follow them and to submit genuine recordings of your own voice.
• We review submissions for quality. We may approve, request a re-recording, or decline work that does not meet the stated requirements, and we'll explain why where a re-recording is needed.
• Payment is made for approved work through the platform you were hired through (such as Upwork, Airtasker, or Prolific) or via PayPal, as indicated on your Get Paid screen. Payment timing and amounts are shown to you before and after you complete a project.
• To be paid promptly, please keep your payment details — such as your PayPal email — accurate. If something is missing, contact support and we'll help you update it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit recordings that are not your own, that include other people without their consent, or that contain unlawful, hateful, or infringing content.
• Use automated tools, fake accounts, or any method to misrepresent your work or identity.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the service.

6. Your recordings & licence

You keep ownership of your voice. By submitting a recording, you grant Voice SFT and its partners a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, reproduce, and create derivative works from your submission for the purpose of operating our projects and developing, training, and improving speech and language technology. You confirm that you have the right to grant this licence and that your submission does not infringe anyone else's rights.

7. Service availability

We work to keep the service running smoothly, but we provide it "as is" and "as available." We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Voice SFT is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently. Approved payments owed to you for legitimately completed work will still be honoured.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
